ABOUT

My name is Klara Scurkova, and my passion is capturing moments in photos. Almost two years ago, I decided to start my new life stage in the USA as an au pair. In the Czech Republic, I worked as a nurse, first in the emergency room and then with disabled children, where my love for children grew. Today I live with a wonderful family and take care of an amazing, almost two-year-old boy named RJ. He was the key to my decision to pursue professional photography. Together with his parents, we try to capture all the holidays, every silly face, every memory. We have been to a professional photographer a couple of times, and so the idea was born - why not try it too? We started turning part of the basement into a small photography studio and started organizing small photo shoots with RJ and friends. We invested in equipment, and I took courses in photography and photo editing, and that's how Little Peanuts Photography began.
